I replicated the form of a large steel public sculpture in the neighborhood of the Freedom Tower by building two smaller scale models. Once installed, I poured dummy crack (gaffle) onto them. The patterns created on the floor by the falling rocks illustrated the configuration of the slopes in the sculpture.
